Summit – The Mastermind

Real Name: Sofia Rios

Role: Leader / Strategist

“Every job has risks. My job is making sure we survive them.”

There’s a difference between intelligence and wisdom, and Sofia Rios—codename Summit—has both in spades. She doesn’t just see the board; she sees every possible outcome, every risk, every move before it happens. She’s the mastermind, the tactician, the one who decides which jobs are worth taking—and which ones will get them killed.

Origins

Before she became Summit, she was Sofia Rios, a girl who grew up on the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where survival was a game of strategy. Some people relied on fists. Sofia relied on her mind. She learned fast that the world belonged to those who could outthink it.

Then came Abe Bennett, and everything changed.

She was one of the first volunteers for the cybernetic enhancement program. Unlike the others, her enhancements weren’t just physical—they were mental. Abe designed her neural interface to process information at hyper-speed, making her a natural-born tactician. She could absorb vast amounts of data in seconds, calculate odds in real time, and predict the enemy’s next move before they made it.

When Abe died, she was the first to wake up. The first to understand they were free. And the first to take charge.

Enhancements & Abilities

Summit isn’t the strongest, the fastest, or the most lethal of the Syndicate. She doesn’t have to be.

Neural Interface Implant – Located at the nape of her neck, this cybernetic enhancement allows her to process and analyze real-time data at speeds no human could ever match.
Advanced Tactical Awareness – She predicts threats, calculates escape routes, and assesses risks in milliseconds, making her nearly impossible to outmaneuver.
Subdermal Comms Link – Micro-implants in her hands allow her to send and receive encrypted messages without speaking a word.
Combat Proficiency – While she prefers to stay five steps ahead of a fight, Summit is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat and firearms, capable of neutralizing threats efficiently.

Personality & Leadership

Summit is cold under pressure, the kind of leader who never lets emotions cloud her decisions—at least, that’s what she wants people to believe. In reality, she carries the weight of every choice she makes, every risk, every mission gone wrong.

Tactical, Logical, Unshakable – No matter how chaotic things get, she remains focused and precise.
Detached, Yet Protective – She rarely lets people see her vulnerabilities, but she would die before letting one of her own fall.
Moral Gray Areas – Summit isn’t a hero. She chooses jobs based on strategy, not sentiment—but deep down, she wants to believe they’re making a difference.

Physical Appearance

Height: 5’9″
Build: Lean, athletic, and toned—built for agility and endurance rather than brute strength.
Skin Tone: Medium tan, reflecting her Latina heritage.
Eyes: Deep brown, sharp and calculating, with a hint of cybernetic enhancement that subtly activates when analyzing data.
Hair: Long, dark brown, often tied back into a sleek ponytail or messy bun for practicality.
Facial Features: Strong jawline, high cheekbones, and a determined gaze. Her expression is usually composed, but there’s a sharpness behind her eyes that signals she’s always thinking five steps ahead.
Cybernetic Enhancements:

  • Neural Interface Implant hidden beneath the hair at the nape of her neck—allows her to process data at high speeds.
  • Subdermal communication implants in her hands—acts as an internal secure comms link to the team.
Clothing Style: Prefers tactical, form-fitting gear in dark or neutral colors—functional, minimal, and designed for efficiency.

Weaknesses

Even the smartest mind has blind spots.

Mental Overload – Her neural interface runs hot, processing massive amounts of information at once. Extended use can cause migraines, blackouts, and cognitive strain.
Detached from Emotion – She buries guilt, doubt, and fear, making her seem cold and unfeeling—but it also means she struggles to trust others.
Physical Limitations – Unlike Havoc or Tempest, she doesn’t have enhanced strength or reflexes. If caught in a direct fight, she has to rely on skill, not brute force.

Why She Fights

Summit doesn’t chase revenge. She doesn’t crave power.

She fights because someone has to control the chaos. Because the world is filled with men who believe they can’t be touched. Because there are people—like Rebecca Collins—who need help, and no one else will step up.

She fights because if the Syndicate doesn’t, someone worse will.

And as long as she’s alive, she’s going to make damn sure they’re always one step ahead.
